Let’s Get Ready For Winter!

Winter is almost here, sadly….well kinda, and with it comes another year of skating on arguably the best outdoor rink in the city. Our concession stand will be operating again this year along with our skate sharpener.

Skate sharpening is $5 or you get 5 free sharpens with the purchase of a family membership.

This year we are excited to finally use our Zamboni to maintain our ice. While we have prided ourselves of having some of the best outdoor ice in the city for the last few years, having a Zamboni at your community rink makes it so much easier to main the already quality ice sheet.

The rinks are available for rental for parties or hockey teams. Please contact our Rink director for more info rinkdirector@beaconheightscl.ca

Jubilee Park Cleanup

On May 26th, the Beacon Heights Community league hosted an event that brought members of the community together and help clean up Jubilee Park for the upcoming summer months. Jubilee Park is the most active park in our community so it was amazing to see so many volunteers get together to help clean up the park and enjoy the great weather. The community league then held a BBQ afterwards to appreciate the efforts of the volunteers. With the efforts of our members, we continue to have a strong and vibrant community
