Community Skate

Come out an enjoy the fresh air at one of Jubilee Park’s two skating rinks this winter. Thanks to our rink director, Chase Yaremchuck, and his staff, we have one of the best ice surfaces in the land. Last year, people came from all over (as well as outside of) the city to enjoy our rinks.

This year, the ice is in even better shape thanks to our donated Zamboni! We also have a concession stand for all of your snacking needs as well as a space-age skate sharpener.

Remember, if you’re a Beacon Heights Community League member, you get in for free.

Tuesday – Friday: 4:30-9PM
Saturday: noon-9PM
Sunday: 2-6PM

Learn to Skate Program

From January 14 to February 26, the City of Edmonton’s free drop-in Learn to Skate program will be at Jubilee Park rink on Sundays between 10AM and 1PM.

The program is targeted at 6-12 year olds and their families, but all are welcome to attend. Skates and helmets will not be provided, but they are required to participate in the program.

Note that the program will not be held on days during which the temperature is below -25C.
