We can’t wait to see you all on Saturday, September 7th! . Following are a few details, tips and reminders for attendees:

What to Bring–this is a short list of things you can bring with you into the concert that’ll improve your time here.

  • Blanket/Tarp (Even on a warm day, it gets cool when the sun goes down)
  • Lawn/Festival Chair
  • Snacks / Water
  • Camera
  • Family and Friends!

Culture

Kindness. We’re made up of family, friends and neighbors here. Please respect your fellow rockers. The Beacon Heights Community League board (all volunteers) have organized this event to bring people together and foster community connections.

Please leave your pets at home (service animals welcome), don’t bring items that will block others’ view.

Fundraisers

50/50 Tickets are available for purchase in person with cash, debit or visa available at the ticket office. 

Donations encouraged with proceeds going to volunteer performers (Cash/Debit/Credit). 

Parking

If you live within walking distance, we encourage you to walk to the event or consider biking. We will have extra space for bike parking (at your own risk) in our batting cage. Please bring a lock to secure your bike. We will have volunteers in the area but we won’t be managing ownership of the bikes.

If you need to drive, be prepared to park a few blocks away. Consider carpooling with your friends. The parking lot will NOT be available for parking.

Consider parking a few blocks away or using the school parking lots at Beacon Heights School (4610 121 Ave) or St. Bernadette (11917 40 St).

Memberships

Memberships will be available at the ticket office for residents of Beacon Heights, Abbottsfield and Bergman throughout the event (until approx. 8pm).

Smoking (bylaw) designated location

This is a non-smoking event and smoking of any kind is not permitted on public parkland. However a designated (tobacco) smoking/vaping area will be provided per by-laws. See onsite signage to access the designated smoking area.

Volunteers that work 4 hours or more will receive a Community Rocks T-Shirt, a $15 Food Voucher for the food trucks, snacks and beverages throughout the shift. Those that work multiple shifts and 8 or more hours will receive two food vouchers. Morning set-up volunteers will receive a pizza lunch supplied by Beverly Boston P
