Meet Mya, the Talented Young Musician at Community Rocks!
Mya Vongphothisal, a vibrant 14-year-old from Beacon Heights, is all set to perform at this year’s event. Having moved to the neighborhood just two years ago, she and her family, including their two huskies, have become Community Rocks fans and familiar faces in the community, often seen walking their two huskies.
Mya’s musical journey began at a young age with piano lessons, where her teacher quickly recognized her vocal talent and encouraged her to explore singing and guitar. By Grade 3, she had her first guitar! Known for her ability to learn any song and her love for creating original music, Mya is an honors student with numerous achievement and recognition awards at her junior high school.
